Continuing to set the trend, Jay-Z plans to blend fashion and politics when he launches his new Reebok sneaker. On August 30th Jay-Z will be making an in store appearance at Footlocker in Miami, FL to launch his new sneaker, the S. Carter Basketball Mid by Rbk and remind people about the importance of voting. After the urging of his friend Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jay-Z will also join in the voting campaign “Voice Your Choice” which will also begin on August 30th at Foot Lockers, Champs and FootAction’s around the country.
As for Jay-Z’s new sneaker that will be released August 27th, it will not only be making its presence on the streets but on the basketball court as well. New York Knicks’ Jamal Crawford and Denver Nuggets’ Kenyon Martin along with many other athletes will be wearing it during the 2004-05 NBA season.
