Big Sean and his mother recently visited the Children’s Hospital of Michigan at the Detroit Medical Center on behalf of The Sean Anderson Foundation. 

Big Sean, who released Hall of Fame this year, met children at the medical facility and said that he was grateful for the experience in a series of Instagram posts, which also included images of his time at the hospital.

“Today[,] on behalf of The Sean Anderson Foundation, we went to Children’s Hospitals downtown Detroit [and] visited some beautiful, cool kids and families,” Sean said. “They’re true [Gs].

“These kids are some of the nicest people I’ve met,” Big Sean added in a different post. “We are working on something special for them for the holidays from our Foundation. Remember to count your blessings. We all are blessed.”

Sean also wrote about his mother’s influence in a separate Instagram post. 

“Love to my mom,” Sean said. “I honestly wouldn’t do half of the cool things I do to give back to kids or people in need if it wasn’t for her teaching [and] telling me why it’s so important. I truly have an awesome, caring mom… [And] that’s something a lot of people don’t have. I’m so happy she is my partner in [T]he Sean Anderson Foundation.”

In November, Big Sean donated food for families in need.
