Beyonce’s release today (December 13) of a surprise self-titled iTunes-exclusive album could help the singer have her most lucrative year of all time, according to forbes.com

“She’s already played 97 shows on her Mrs. Carter World Tour this year–and, in combination with the buzz for her new album, that could catapult her to the most lucrative year of her already storied career,” Forbes says. “Forbes calculates earnings on the half-year, meaning that the scoring period for 2014 will run from June 2013 to June 2014.”

Beyonce is scheduled for 83 shows during that time period, according to forbes.com. She’s grossing approximately $2 million per city and forbes.com calculates that Beyonce is taking home approximately $1 million per night, including merchandise sales and sold-out concert events. The calculations come before expenses to agents, managers and taxes.

The calculations could help Beyonce match her best years, according to forbes.com. Her best years, thus far, have been 2009 and 2010, years where the singer-actress made more than $87 million each. Beyonce’s Pepsi and H&M endorsements and other ventures could help her expand on these successes.
