At the tail-end of the Thanksgiving holiday, our most popular hits of the week finds ScHoolboy Q and Kanye West trading the first and second spots on the list. Last week, the TDE emcee topped the list with the debut of his new Oxymoron single “Man Of The Year.” This week, Kanye takes over the top spot knocking Q down to #2 with his appearance on Sway In The Morning. TDE frontman and GQ Rapper Of The Year Kendrick Lamar takes a hold of the third position with a look back at his holiday-titled “Thanksgiving” from 2009.

Actors Seth Rogen and James Franco make their first appearance on the list with a spoof of Kanye West’s recently released “Bound 2” video helping knock down the original to #5 in the process. A$AP Ferg grabs Busta Rhymes—who also has video at #9, Migos, and Shabba Ranks for the remix to the song titled after the Jamaican dancehall star. A leak from Childish Gambino’s upcoming because the internet album makes it to #7 with an assist from the Compton-reared emcee Problem. The list is closed out by another Thanksgiving-themed throwback from Jay Z’sBlueprint 3 with “Thank You” and Eminem’s “Rap God” video at #10.

Kanye West Screams On Sway In The Morning

While visiting Sway Calloway’s popular weekday radio show, Sway In The Morning, Kanye West made a stir this week after responding to a fashion-related question with an aggressive outburst. After the conversation turned towards West’s endeavors in the industry, Sway asked about the viability of Kanye’s self-financed clothing line and products. When prompted with the question, West quickly took an offensive. “You ain’t got the answers, man,” he said. “You ain’t got the answers… Sway. I’ve been doing this more than you.” Video of the interview can be streamed below.

ScHoolboy Q’s “Man Of The Year” Stays In The Top Three

With its debut at #1 on our list last week, ScHoolboy Q’s latest single, “Man Of The Year,” manages to hold at the second spot. Last month, Q confirmed a tentative January 2014 release date for the album in a featured verse. On the remix of recently signed TDE artist Isaiah Rashad’s song “Shot You Down,” Q raps “I’m tired of answering questions why Oxymoron delayed.” “See, I was thinking November, but January is sweet / They set my Setbacks is free, my Habits won in my sleep / So January agree, get a taste of this gangsta / See I’m just tryna eat with a freak of the week.”

Kendrick Lamar And Rapper Big Pooh’s “Thanksgiving” Climbs For The Holiday

In honor of the holiday, DX’s third most popular single of the week comes from Kendrick Lamar’s 2009 debut under his birth-name. “Thanksgiving,” which features former Little Brother member Rapper Big Pooh, appeared as the thirteenth song on the emcee’s Kendrick Lamar EP. Besides a preemptive reference to the title of his commercial debut, “Thanksgiving” finds both Kendrick and Big Pooh airing out a verse and a half each. In his first verse, Lamar raps, “I’m a Hub City representer, so I’ve got to represent the / City like a District Attorney being the case for killers.” With its appearance at #3 this week, “Thanksgiving” has charted a seven spot climb from its place at #10 last time around.

Seth Rogen And James Franco Spoof Kanye West’s “Bound 2” Video

Relatively soon after its premiere on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier in the month, actors Seth Rogen and James Franco released a shot-for-shot spoof of Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video this past Monday. With Franco playing and rapping Kanye’s part and Rogen in the shoes of wife Kim Kardashian, the “Bound 3” video is otherwise nearly identical to its original.

Kardashian Tweeted a positive response to the spoof a day after its release, writing, “Kanye says what’s up!” and “He laughed so hard at this.” Video of the spoof, which comes in at one spot above the original in our Top 10 this week, can be streamed below.
