YouTube is set to stream its first YouTube Music Awards today (November 3).

The event, slated to stream live at 6 p.m. EST, is set to include performances from various artists, including Eminem and Tyler, the Creator.

The award show, hosted by Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts, is also set to include various categories for awards. Nominees for these awards include Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Nicki Minaj, among others. 

The award show, which features Spike Jonze as its creative director, is being live streamed through YouTube. A stream of the lead-up to the show is available below. The countdown for the YouTube Music Awards includes celebrations from Seoul, Moscow, Rio and London.

Nominees for the awards were selected through YouTube data from the last 12 months, according to the site. Fans also voted for the winners on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
