Killa Sha’s posthumous The Shepard album is slated for a January 14, 2014 release, as per Gustavo Guerra, one of the collection’s executive producers. The project is also being executive-produced by Tragedy Khadafi and Large Professor.
Killa Sha passed away in 2010 due to complications from diabetes.
The Queens, New York rapper worked extensively with Tragedy Khadafi, Mobb Deep and others in the 1990s. He sometimes handled deejay duties for Prodigy and Havoc.
Killa Sha released his God Walk On Water project in 2007. “We felt that Killa Sha was perhaps the last real Queensbridge rapper, period,” Christian Hedlund of the Traffic Entertainment Group said soon after Killa Sha passed away. Traffic released God Walk on Water. “He was a righteous individual, real stand-up guy, who delivered what he promised, and delivered quality,” Hedlund continued. “Not something we run into all the time.”
