Top Dawg Entertainment has signed a new artist to its roster, according to a tweet sent today (September 20) by the imprint’s CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.

Isaiah Rashad, a Chattanooga, Tennessee rapper, is the newest member of the Southern California label, whose roster also includes Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul.

On Wednesday (August 18), Kendrick Lamar mentioned Isaiah Rashad on twitter.

Top Dawg Entertainment also posted Isaiah Rashad’s “I Shot You Down” video, which can be seen below, on its YouTube page today.

The 21-year-old rapper was said to be affiliated with the company as early as June, as per hiphopwired.com.

The Isaiah Rashad announcement follows the August signing of singer SZA. Prior to signing with TDE, SZA released a handful of projects, including last year’s See.SZA.Run and the S EP. The singer is also gearing up for the release of her Z EP, which is slated to feature her recent singles, “Julia” and “Teen Spirit.”
