Joey Bada$$, who was recently on tour with Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky as part of their “Under the Influence of Music Tour,” spoke about what he learned from the run.

“It’s been an eye opener,” Bada$$ said of the tour in an interview with KarmaloopTV. “It’s a really humbling experience in a way as well, as much as it is an honor and an opportunity of a lifetime. But at the same time, when I come out every night, I just realize how much I got to work harder, how much I just got to get my shit up on a whole ‘nother level.”

Bada$$ will likely use what he’s learned from the tour on his upcoming run with Ab-Soul and others as part of “The Smokers Club Tour.” The tour, which was announced this week, will run from October through November.

Aside from heading on tour with Ab-Soul, there are other changes that may be on the horizon for Joey. According to Bada$$, the rapper may experiment with other musical genres in the future.

“I always imagine just experimenting in that field more,” Bada$$ said of a potential Reggae-inspired project. “It’s definitely in the future, definitely.”
