Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been added to the list of performers for 2013’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). The duo will perform “Same Love,” a song about marriage equality, at the August 25 event.

It’s fitting that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will perform since the duo are tied with Justin Timberlake for most VMA nominations this year with six. “Thrift Shop” is up for Video of the Year, “Can’t Hold Us” is up for Best Hip Hop Video and “Same Love” was nominated for Best Video with a Social Message.

The video announcement for Mack & Lewis’ performance can be found in short promo clips below.

Additionally, Bruno Mars has also been added to the list of performers for the award show at Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center. Mack, Lewis and Mars join a roster of performers that includes Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, among others. The event will air live on Sunday August 25 at 9pm ET/PT.
