New Orleans, Louisiana emcee Juvenile has expanded his UTP Records roster. The label that was once distributed through major Atlantic Records will now include local rapper Cali Pachino. Pachino has worked with Mystikal, as well as Juvy’s former Hot Boys bandmate Turk.

“Everywhere I went, I heard Cali Pachino name at my shows or on different singles he had constantly playing in the clubs I was in,” Juvenile told HipHopDX in a statement. “He really been out here grinding and making a lot of noise on his own. I really saw the hard work he been putting in and now the rewards of his hard work is about to pay off.”

UTP Records will facilitate Cali’s mixtape later this month. “He will be dropping [Rappin’ N’ Trappin’] on August 30 and what I promise you to be the mixtape of the year,” said Juvenile. “The whole world is bout to know who Cali Pachino is. He has shown me that he is worthy of me giving him my stamp of approval and letting the world know that he is a force to be reckon with.”
