The semi-annual MixShow Live Atlanta conference will be taking place in Atlanta, Georgia Friday (August 9) through Sunday (August 11). The weekend-long event is hosted by MixShow Live LLC and The Core DJ’s and will feature 50 Cent, Waka Flocka Flame and ScHoolboy Q, among others.
MixShow Live 4 will feature artist showcases, listening suites, panels and a number of social events. Particular events that will take place there include the Radio Programmers Power Panel, which will be manned by 10 of the country’s most influential radio program directors, who will be answering questions about how song are selected for the radio, the Interscope Listening Suite, which will feature ScHoolboy Q and Doe B, and the Core Model Annual Pool Party with Waka Flocka Flame, Kevin Gates, Alley Boy and DJ Scream. The Coast to Coast Soundstage is slated to feature celebrity judges Young Dro, Drumma Boy, Brian-Michael Cox, Stevie J, Benzino and Teddy Riley, as well as a performance by N.O.R.E.
The conference will also include the Queens of Hip Hop Legend’s Event, showcasing Roxanne Shante, MC Sha-Rock, Monie Love, Yo-Yo, Sweet Tee and Spinderella, as well as the R&B Legends Concert hosted by Full Force featuring Tony! Toni! Tone!, Cameo, Teddy Riley, Black Street and others.
There will also be a Coalition DJs Soundstage featuring Rich Homie Quan, Slice 9, Doe B, Verse Simmonds and Ca$h Out, as well as a G-Unit Records Listening Suite featuring Kidd Kidd hosted by 50 Cent and Tony Neal.

MixShow Live LLC is one of the primary hosts of the conference. The company is a destination management company that works in such fields as creative program design, promotional tours, custom special event production, and campaign
execution in targeted markets. Its client list includes Lionsgate, Epic, Colombia, Atlantic, Warner Bros., Interscope, TV One and Sony Music.
The other organization presenting the music industry showcase is the Core DJ’s. Founded by Tony Neal, the Core DJ’s acts as a union for more than 500 deejays across the country. Its stated purpose is to empower and educate the core of the music industry, the deejay.
