Following Jay-Z’s soundtrack supervision of NBA 2K13, another high profile personality has been called upon to curate the tunes to the leading video game franchise. Miami Heat star and NBA Finals MVP Lebron James will tackle NBA 2K14‘s music supervision. The game will release on October 1.

Lebron’s choices are confirmed by NBA.com to include Drake’s “Started From The Bottom,” Daft Punk and Pharrell’s “Get Lucky,” as well as songs from Kanye West, Jadakiss, Kendrick Lamar and fellow Ohio natives Fly Union.

“I love that I’m the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack,” said James in a press statement.

The Jay-Z executive-produced NBA 2K13 sold over four million copies worldwide.
