Chicago, Illinois’ King Louie (a/k/a King L), dropped his Jeep Music mixtape today—which is available for free download at DatPiff.com. The latest project from King L features production from Snapback On Da Track, Cryptonite, LoKey, Chase Davis, and others as well.
Along with Chief Keef, King Louie has been at the forefront of The Windy City’s growing Drill Music scene. Hailing from the South Side of the city, the rapper recently made a high-profile guest appearance on Kanye West’s Yeezus, which was released last month at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Before being featured on the G.O.O.D. Music head’s recent album, Louie was shouted out by ‘Ye on the “I Don’t Like Remix.”
Much like Kanye, King L was also in a major car accident a few years ago that required him to be put on life support. Currently the rapper is prepping his major label debut on Epic Records.
