While Kanye West included no inserts or artwork to his 2013 album, Yeezus, ‘Ye’s friend and Def Jam Records label-mate 2 Chainz is feeling more giving. The Playaz Circle alum’s sophomore solo album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time (Based On A TRU Story 2) is now said to include a companion cookbook.
The gold-selling G.O.O.D. Music affiliate revealed his September plans to New York City’s Power 105 show with DJ Self. “I’m cool enough to be comfortable in my own skin and try to educate people, so with this cookbook I’m gonna have probably about 14 to 15 meals, [based on how] many songs [the album has], that’s gonna tell you what was used to make these as far as ingredients, and cooking time and all of that stuff, and probably the pros and the cons of eating it.”
2 Chainz battles acid reflux and ulcers, which has greatly affected his diet. “I’m a seafood lover, I don’t eat beef or pork, period… so turkey, chicken, that’s a lot of the recipes I use and eat every day.” He continued, “It clogs up arteries, cholesterol, and things of that nature. Black people, the leading cause of death is high blood pressure.”

Adding that he may also offer custom aprons for sale, 2 Chainz believes this campaign and marketing will enhance his fan-base. “That’ll probably get me on ‘The View’ or something like that. Just another angle, another outlet for me to express myself.”
