A second arrest has been made in the murder investigation of Jonesboro, Louisiana rapper Lil Snupe (a/k/a Addarren Ross). On June 20, the 18-year-old signed to Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers Entertainment was fatally shot outside the Maplewood Apartment Complex.

Two suspects have been named in the murder. The first, 36-year-old Tony D. Holden, turned himself in on June 25 to the Winnfield Police Department, not far from the murder scene. He was the suspect first named by authorities, just hours after the murder.

The Shrevport Times now reports that last week, 21-year-old Edrick O. Stewart has also been arrested, booked and charged with the murder. Stewart is a native of Monroe, Louisiana.

“We are told they were betting on a video game,” Lieutenant Charles Curry told the paper. “Supposedly, [Tony D. Holden] robbed him [Lil Snupe] of money,” Curry said as explanation of the robbery charge.

The suspect responsible for the shooting has yet to be reported.

Lil Snupe’s funeral was held in his hometown on June 29. Meek Mill was among among those who attended.
