“Bad” is culled from Wale’s forthcoming The Gifted album, which is slated for a June 25 release. Tiara Thomas also appeared with Wale on his 2010 mixtape “More About Nothing” on the song “The Cloud.”

Last week, Wale spoke with New York radio station Hot 97 regarding Tiara Thomas. The Maybach Music Group artist says he “was a casualty of the game” because he did not sign Tiara Thomas, who also raps. “That bitter reality just hit me,” Wale says during the interview. “But it’s all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas and her new situation.”

When pressed by Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg to elaborate on why he did not sign Tiara Thomas, the Washington, D.C. rapper initially declined. “I don’t want to go there,” he says. “Shout out to Tiara Thomas, though.”
