TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) has expanded greatly over the last eight years. The imprint launched by Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith in 2005 with the signing of Watts, California emcee Jay Rock has gone on to include additions such as Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul—who with Rock, make up Black Hippy.

During the group’s weekend appearance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam XX, an announcement surfaced of the latest addition to TDE. According to Rikki Martinez of Los Angeles, California’s Power 106 and HipHop-N-More, the new artist is Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Isaiah Rashad. Previously, Rashad appeared on the Smoker’s Club Tour with Big K.R.I.T. and Smoke DZA

TDE has yet to confirm the announcement with a press statement. Earlier today, the label was claimed to be the supporter of a surprise Papoose performance at Summer Jam following a headlining set from Kendrick Lamar.

One of Rashad’s more recent videos, “Gusto,” is below:
