Brooklyn, New York emcee KA made a strong comeback in 2012 with the release of Grief Pedigree. The Iron Works Records-released project featured Roc Marciano and garnered critical acclaim. Later in the year, the former Natural Elements member appeared on Roc’s own Reloaded sophomore solo album, via Decon Records.

Grief Pedigree notably ended up on Sean Price’s Top 20 Favorite Albums Of All Time list, during the Heltah Skeltah emcee’s tenure as HipHopDX editor last fall.

With last week’s video single release for new single, “Our Father,” details have emerged concerning KA’s third solo album. KevinNottingham.com reports that it will be called The Night’s Gambit, and can be expected in July of this year.
