Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers Collaborate On “Lose Yourself To Dance”

The collaborative spirit on “Lose Yourself to Dance” was a positive one for fans of Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. Together, they released one of this week’s most popular songs.

Back in April, Pharrell spoke about the collaboration and explained how it all came together.

“The robots sort of reached out and they kept trying to figure out when we were gonna be in Paris,” said Pharrell. “And so finally I ended up in Paris. They were like ‘Well, what have you been working on?’ And I played them some of the stuff I had been working on and I was like ‘Yeah, I’m kinda like in this Nile Rodgers place right now.’ And they looked at each other and I was like ‘What? You guys don’t like [that]?’ And they were like ‘Okay, so this is what we want you to write to.’ So, they play it. Nile Rodgers is actually playing in the track.”
