Rihanna is one of the current pillars of Pop music. The Def Jam Records artist is now moving into television, and bringing some powerful friends along. According to The Hollywood Reporter, RiRi’s show “Styled To Rock” is in production, with a 10-episode season confirmed for the Style network.

The show is 12 contestant competition among aspiring stylists, hopeful for celebrity clients. One such celeb is Hip Hop star Pharrell Williams of N*E*R*D and The Neptunes. Pharrell will serve as a mentor to the contestants.

“We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on ‘Styled to Rock,’” said Salaam Coleman Smith, president Style Media. “Pharrell’s unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna’s vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends.”
