With the recent and sudden departure of Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi from G.O.O.D. Music, many fans of the Kanye West-led label questioned whether any other acts would be following Cudi’s lead.

During a recent interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, crooner John Legend confirmed that he’s still a part of G.O.O.D. Music and has even worked heavily with Kanye on his upcoming album, Love In The Future.

“Yeah, still signed to G.O.O.D. Music. Me and Kanye worked on this whole album,” Legend revealed. “So, the next album Love In The Future is coming out this summer. We got the single out now, ‘Who Do We Think We Are.’”

Legend later went on to reveal that Kanye’s become less interested in making beats and for Legend’s Love In The Future album the rapper instead went on to “suggest beats” for the singer to write to. He later clarified his statements by adding that Kanye is more of “a producer in a classic sense.”

“What I’m saying is we think of production as making beats, but production is the vision. And Kanye is a producer in a classic sense. That’s how Quincy Jones was. He’s a producer in a classic sense,” Legend explained.

John Legend’s Love In The Future is expected to be released this summer. The singer’s interview with The Breakfast Club can be seen below (via HotNewHipHop).
