    1. Surprisngly, no kayne west and only one jay z appearance. I also didn’t expect 2 appearances from 2 of the members of the black eyed peas.

      1. really??? like we need more stupid material from lil wayne. IF you ever decided to read an actual book, you would release that the music made by YMCMB has no place on the soundtrack of a literary classic like “the great gatsby.”

    2. I just got paid $6784 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that’s cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers, made over $9000 her first month and she convinced me to try. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. Here’s what I do,, Wow55.Com_

    3. This movie was made for white people by white people, wtf are rappers doing on this soundtrack, does jay secretly want to white! How many black people in the US will watch this film? Maybe like 5.

      1. This was a book written in the 20’s. Dumb ass mothafucka, of course it was written for white people. But last time I checked it was 2013, so black people can watch it too if they so desire.

      2. And it’s not just rappers that are on the soundtrack. Florence and Goye are on the soundtrack.

      3. Its a book about prohibition. Thats a civic issue, not a race issue. That affected all races then just as it does today (yesterday alcohol, today ganj).

      4. Its a book about living that lavish lifestyle. About throwing huge parties and getting fuggin wasted for no reason. They drive the nicest cars and wear the nicest clothes. Every single rapper either raps about or lives this lifestyle. So it’s certainly not just a movie for white people. The track list looks great to me because there are a few New York rappers and artists along with other musicians who incorporate that jazz influence in their art.

    4. Jay on a track called $100 Bill. Hopefully it won’t be another song about how much dough he’s got.

      1. Pretty sure it’s a cover of Buddy Guy’s 100$ bill, which is definitely not about how much money he got.

    5. not trying to be a NASIR stan here… but dammn, NAS most likely could have knocked one out the park for this type of film.

    6. A few surprise inclusions (The Black Eyed Peas, Nero, GoonRock), a few people who I hoped would be on it who aren’t (Kanye West, for one).

One thing this has done though is make me hope Jigga collaborates with any one of Florence, Q-Tip, Lana del Rey, Emeli Sande or Sia.

    7. Absolute trash. Listened to it (from inside sources I’m not allowed to name) and it was pure trash straight thru. Don’t buy it. Don’t see the movie.

      1. Are you kidding? IF this is your idea of pure trash then your taste in music must be extremely underdeveloped. Get some standards. Also, I do not really see how anyone could ruin The Great Gatsby as long as they follow the novel halfway accurately. the plot is amazing, the costumes and cast as well, I honestly do not think anything could go wrong there. But like I said, your sense of taste is questionable.

    8. Wasnt Kid Koala workin on the soundtrack? Did he just work on score? Did his work not get used? On a side note though, Bryan Ferry is gonna be awesome. Dude has a knack for knockin soundtrack balls out of the park.

    9. CHIEF KEEF SHOULD SUE DAT NIGGA will.i.am FO DAT ‘BANG BANG’ TRACK
      UNGRATEFUL ASS BITING NIGGA

      1. Ja Rule should sue every nigga in the rap game for biting his swag, including tupacs mother

      2. And young buck should sue them both then. You can not sue for using a song name you idiot. and there are dozens of songs named bang bang. grow some braids and shoot a youth!

    10. Fergie and Q-Tip on the same track??? Really Tip? You ain’t make enough money off the Tribe movie?? aaand who the FUCK is goonrock?
