On Monday (March 18), HipHopDX reported that French adult film actress Celine Tran (a/k/a Katsumi) was awarded $79,000 in a suit against rapper, actor and 106 & Park television host Bow Wow. The suit alleged that footage of her dancing in another video was re-purposed without permission to Bow Wow’s visual to “Drank In My Cup.”

Via Facebook, as quoted by SOHH.com, Bow Wow has responded, claiming that he committed no wrongdoing as it was not his video. “Yo! That dumb a** porn star chick who ever she is aint [sic] getting a dime from us! We aint make no video. That video was mashed up by somebody on Youtube and i reposted cuz it was dope. People mash up artist videos all the time online. Everybody looking for a hustle. Then they tryna say drink in my cup is my song. That aint my song u dumb braud! Get a life. I dont play dem games. N*ggas work too hard to give away free money.” Bow Wow is believed to be referring to the fact that the original “Drank In My Cup” was made by Warner Bros. Records artist Kirko Bangz.

It is unclear if whether Bow Wow will appeal in court or not.
