Emcee-turned-actor and personality Queen Latifah has announced a premiere date for her upcoming CBS daytime talk show. Beginning on September 16, the New Jersey emcee and longtime co-manager of Flavor Unit Entertainment will be joined—reportedly daily, by her Set It Off co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith, who will be the show’s executive producer.

Karen Civil’s website acknowledge a Facebook comment post from Smith, “Wearing my Executive Producer hat, standing beside the next daytime talk show superstar. Starting September 16, 2013, you will be able to kick it with Queen Latifah everyday.”

Latifah previously had a FOX network talk show in 1999, but the program was canceled after less than two seasons. In 2009, Latifah last released her Persona album, produced by Cool & Dre.
