When it came to the inspiration for her new “Work” music video, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea didn’t hesitate in pulling ideas from various sources. During an interview with MTV News, the Aussie import shared that Outkast’s “Bombs Over Baghdad” was one of a handful of visual pieces that inspired her latest music video.

“I took some ‘Bombs Over Baghdad’ inspiration with the semis. We got some semi-trailers. All kinds of stuff. I just kinda went crazy,” Iggy revealed.

The “Work” music video also features a scene inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Deathproof and also various odes to the musical, Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.

“I really liked this film as a kid and always identified with it because it’s [about] drag queens and they have to keep stopping in small rural towns and they’re not accepted,” said the rapper. “I always kinda felt that way with rap — trying to break into it, I wasn’t accepted and I was out of my element, so I really love that movie, and it being Australian, I really wanted to draw reference from it. So there’s little nods to that in the desert scene.”
