Yo Gotti has announced a partnership between his CMG label with Epic Records.

After posting a picture of himself with Epic Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid to Instagram, Gotti has confirmed that the multi-million dollar, multi-tiered deal will offer a complete distribution and promotional opportunity for his CMG imprint.

“This is a solid partnership that allows me to do what I do on bigger platforms, with the respect and support of the Epic team,” says Gotti. “Throughout L.A. Reid’s career, I realize he has been a part of creating some of the biggest superstars in the industry. I feel there is no better person to partner with.”

Gotti, who recently put out his single “Check” and will release its video soon, says that he was fielding financially substantial offers from other labels, but decided to go with Epic because the situation seemed like a smart business move.

“The independent success we’ve had thus far with our tour, merchandising and projects from myself and my first artist Zed Zilla has given me the perfect opportunity to create the best possible partnership for CMG,” Gotti says. “I have no doubt that we will take our movement to its pinnacle with Epic Records.”

Yo Gotti released his debut album Live from the Kitchenin January 2012 after several delays. The project, which released on RCA Records and Polo Grounds Music, bowed at No. 12 on the charts with 16,000 copies sold and spawned the singles “5 Star,”“Single” and “We Can Get It On.”
