Mobb Deep is ready to put the past behind them and get back to the music.
Following a report from TMZ that the pair will reunite at Paid Dues Festival 2013 and launch a 20th anniversary tour, HipHopDX has confirmed with the group’s publicist that Prodigy and Havoc will patch up their differences and hit the live circuit.
The group will set it off at the Festival on March 30th. The New York City, New York natives join a lineup that includes Black Hippy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Dom Kennedy, Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, De La Soul, Hopsin, Joey Bada$ and Grouch & Eligh. Then, P and Hav will hit the road on their international 20th anniversary tour in April.
Trouble for the group began last April, when Havoc took to Twitter to put Prodigy on blast, claiming that he had homosexual relationships while in prison. He later denied the tweets were his own, stating that he left his phone at a gas station and someone posted from his account. An audio recording was released shortly after where he continued to air out P, a clip that he also denied was of him. Just days later, they were pictured together at a New York Knicks game.

Sources said that fans shouldn’t expect another album, and in July, Havoc later confirmed he sent his tweets, stating that Mobb Deep was on an indefinite hiatus.
Last month, Prodigy said that he was “sure” that Mobb Deep would release another album. “I love Mobb Deep…Mobb Deep made my life what it is,” he said. “Havoc feels the same way, so we’ll be right back to work. For right now, he’s doing his thing and I’m doing my thing. I’ve got goals I’m trying to accomplish, and I really can’t let nothing sidestep me or get in the way of that. If that means I gotta put Mobb Deep on standby for the time being, then so be it.”
