“My passion for Hip Hop, I’m from Bushwick, Brooklyn. It’s the pulse of my neighborhood,” he said. “It was always there, and I’m proud to say that my passion for acting was there as well. I’m blessed to have that career. I understand how difficult it is to make it as an actor and to do music is no different.”

Prodigy praised the 33-year-old, stating that he’s self-made and knows how to navigate the Rap world. “The fact that Realm was also in Hollywood doing his thing with movies and all of that, it only helps. A lot of people know his face. It’s two different business, it’s two different worlds, but at the same time, he’s a product. I’m a product. We out here selling what we do to the world.”

Gonzalez plans to release his 14-track mixtape In the Grind We Trust on February 12th. The project features guest appearances from Joell Ortiz, Blu, Roc Marciano, Skyzoo, Prodigy and more.
