Hit-Boy Announces Signing To Interscope Records

Hit-Boy has announced his signing to Interscope Records, which will house his Hits Since ’87 imprint.

Taking to Twitter, the G.O.O.D. Music producer broke the news that he has secured a deal with the powerhouse label. “Hits Since 87, inc + Interscope. Young Label owner. #Godisgreat,” he wrote.

Hit-Boy, who is signed to Blueprint Group Management, was recently rumored to be joining Gee Roberson’s newly launched Blueprint Records, an extension of Interscope. It’s unclear if Hit’s signing is connected to Blueprint.

As a producer, Hit is best known for helming Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N—-s in Paris” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle.” As a rapper, he most recently released his HITstory mixtape.

    1. Clarity: YES, it is a signing to Gee’s Blueprint Records label through Interscope. He signed Hitboy and someone else which I cannot remember right now. YES, he’s still connected with Kanye as Gee formerly managed Kanye and is till good with him. Gee got the label in turn of resigning from being a exec for the label (loosely explained).
