Police announced on Wednesday (January 16) that Guerilla Black was arrested in connection with a major credit card fraud investigation.
The Compton rapper, born Charles Tony Williamson, was taken into custody on Wednesday morning by local police and United States Secret Service, says according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Black and four others were arrested as authorities served warrants at seven locations.
Black had previously been indicted by federal authorities in Washington on fraud charges, and was on a pre-trial release.

Guerilla Black and his associates allegedly made profits of over $20,000 a month. The alleged fraud resulted in losses at financial institutions in the U.S., England, Switzerland, and Nigeria.
