Wiz Khalifa appeared in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s City Council chambers earlier this morning with his family to accept a proclomation for being an ambassador for his hometown.

According to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the council declared December 12, 2012 to be “Wiz Khalifa Day.” The Taylor Gang leader, who is in town for a performance at Consol Energy Center tomorrow, said that “he has always bragged about being from Pittsburgh and that he doesn’t feel as though he’s accomplished much yet.”

The Rostrum/Atlantic signee most recently released his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C., which features guest appearances from Cam’Ron, 2 Chainz, Juicy J and more.
