Veteran producer Salaam Remi has been named Executive VP of A&R/Production at Sony Music Entertainment.
According to Billboard.biz, the Grammy nominee will serve in the role across all Sony labels including Epic, Columbia and RCA.
Remi has had a storied career in the music industry. He was integral in Amy Winehouse‘s albums Frank and Back to Black, and has consistently worked with Nas over the past decade. Additional credits include songs for Jazmine Sullivan, Fugees, Ne-Yo, Ciara and Nelly Furtado.
