It’s been nearly five years in the making, but former Shady Records rapper Cashis is finally ready to release his debut album The Art of Dying. Now, in a DubCNN exclusive, fans can listen to the Chicago-born emcee’s debut.
Cashis gave DubCNN an exclusive stream of his debut LP, which boasts features from Royce Da 5’9″, Rick Ross, Game and others. The stream also comes with an exclusive West Coast-inspired track titled “Threat (Nowhere II Hide),” produced by Rikanatti.
“I wanted to do something for the coast, as of lately it seems like we’ve gotten so far away from that, I wanted to restore the feeling of what the foundation of the West Coast was built on, that classic street essence of the West Coast,” he said of the exclusive song.

The bonus track is not produced by Rikanatti – its a throwback track produced by DJ POoh that was on an artist named “Threat”… The Threat record was titled “Nowhere II Hide”. Hence the title…
the album is kind of……. generic
exactly
honestly…rappers please cease the release of any further albums until this kendrick buzz dies down…your music will get no play
SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE DICK RIDER OR DARE I SAY HATER? ANYWAYS ALL I GOT TO SAY IS 3 WORDS…….COME ON SON!!!!!
Honestly I think @real talk has a point and he isn’t the first person to say it. Meek Mill’s album is looking really bad because people are just experiencing GKMC…
Ca$his, you ain’t a West Coast nigga, you’re from Chicago!
So Pac was from NY
Check out how bad the singer is on the chorus of 6. “In the Name of Love (Do It All)” (featuring Rick Ross, Game, Joe Young & K-Young)
Lame, Goretex dropped The art of dying in 2004. This dude starts working on an album 3 years later and naming it the same thing. Why cant rappers come up with their own shit. I know i know, the days when originality was important is over and alot of rappers does the same thing but its still WACK.
George Harrison had a song called Art of Dying in the 70’s, so I guess Goretex is lame too. Look up latin, dumb ass
Cashis is aiight, I liked a few songs off his EP
his county hound EP was certainly dope. i did not love the Art of Dying but i thought it was good. If you want more like the EP check out his “County Hound 2” album
this album aint good enough. it sounds like 99% of all albums. Im getting bored with these trap beatz and this weak gangster raplyrics
what did eminem ever see in this guy??? He has to be in the bottom 5 of the worst rappers ever. I have a headache now, wish I could get the last 30mins of my life back
