Chief Keef could be returning to juvenile detention for allegedly violating his probation twice.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Cook County prosecutors state that he violated his probation stemming from an incident where he pointed a gun at a police officer an was sentenced to 18 months of probation. He was later found delinquent on two other felonies.
Earlier today, prosecutors pointed to his video interview with Pitchfork, conducted in June at a gun range. In the video, the 17-year-old was holding a gun – a direct violation of his probation, which prohibits him from having guns, illegal drugs or associations with gang members.
Prosecutors also said he failed to complete his GED by a court-ordered deadline. Assistant State’s Attorney Jullian Brevard noted that on September 30th, police responded to a call of gang disturbance and found him associating with Black Disciple gang members.
