Turk was released last week after almost nine years in prison, putting his life back on track. Breaking his silence during an interview with New Orleans, Louisiana’s Q93, the former Cash Money artist said that he finished his autobiography in jail and is working on his screenplay. Additionally, he’s got some music in the works.

“First things first, getting my family straight. That go without being said,” he remarked. “I been working on the autobiography, I finished it. I’m about to get a deal for that, it’s called The AutoThugography of Turk. I got my double-CD out in ’10 while I was locked up, that’s called The AudioThugography of Turk. I also did a screen play as well called Reckless about my life, you know what I’m talking about? Just working like that, man.”

He also addressed a possible reunion with Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne. Though he hadn’t reconnected with the team, he said he was waiting on a call from Weezy to catch up.

“I’m waiting on that now. I’m about to get a call now, I’m waiting on him to hit me up to see what they’re talking about. But you already know, it’s in the air. We ain’t nothing final now, it’s just things in the air, you know what I’m talking about?”
