Freeway “Diamond In The Ruff” Album Stream

    Freeway has revealed the cover art for his upcoming album Diamond in the Ruff, releasing on Babygrande Records on November 13th.

    While the tracklist is yet to be announced, Philly Freezer will release the first single from the project, “Jungle,” tomorrow (October 12th).

    Additionally, Free has announced his upcoming “Diamond in the Ruff” tour, kicking off at Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia tomorrow. Stops on the trek include Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago. Second leg cities and tour dates will be announced soon.

    UPDATE: HipHopDX has learned that Freeway has delayed his Babygrande Records debut Diamond in the Ruff from November 13th to November 27th. He most recently released his new mixtape Freedom of Speech, which is hosted by Don Cannon.

    1. Look at that cover man, doesn’t it make you think of one of the most famous covers ever? It’s a fucking Illmatic ripoff!

    2. I remember hearing Freeway for the first time on Jay-Z’z Roc La Familia…1 800 Hustler. Great lyricist, and distinctive voice. Hope to hear him collab with M.O.P. on this album. His other albums were dope, and I expect nothing less with this one.

    3. I’m not the biggest fan of Freeway’s flow, but I love this dude’s hustle. And when you listen to the lyrics, he has bars. He’s made no excuses and just continued to do his thing. I’m coping the new album.

    4. So let me get this straight. Bleek can’t get an album out anymore, but Freeway can? What a cold world we live in.
