As part of a six-city civic engagement tour, put on in partnership with Ustream, AllHipHop.com, GlobalGrind.com, Bossip.com and more, the League of Young Voters will host a live-streaming discussion in conjunction with Wednesday’s Presidential debate. BET host Rocsi Diaz, Hip Hop journalist and media activist Davey D, “ill Doctrine” host Jay Smooth, and League of Young Voters Executive Director Rob “Biko” Baker will discuss the hot-button issues being talked about from the blogs to the blocks in inner-city America.
The discussion will take place Wednesday, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on October 3, 12 at the Brooklyn Creative League (540 President St., 1st Floor in Brooklyn, NY 11215).
“With only 40 days left until Election Day, journalists and political analysts have their eyes on young people of color, whose votes could change the course for the 2012 election,” read a statement issued by the League of Young Voters.
UPDATE: Those outside of the Brooklyn area can view the discussion via U-Stream below.
