Just as Lupe Fiasco drops Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, Lupe has announced that Pt. 2 is well on its way. Mr. Fiasco is planning to drop the second disc (which he’s previously described as “experimental”) just shortly after Christmas. So any late gifters can grab that for some friends. With 2013 being right around the corner, we’re getting New Year release announcements as well. Common is hard at work on his tenth album, which will be the follow-up to 2011’s The Dreamer, The Believer. The rapper turned actor announced that the next album will be coming sometime in January. No word on the title yet. Meanwhile, Future is ready to drop his follow-up to Pluto. The album, Future Hendrix is looking at a February release. In upcoming release news, Mr. Sean Price is back after a nearly 5-year break following the release of his Jesus Price Superstaralbum. Mic Tyson is the name of the album, and it’s coming on October 30th via Duck Down Records. Mark your calendars.
