Looking forward to the event, Awar released the following statement: “It is an honor and a pleasure to invite you to The Laws Of Nature Party at Drom in New York City on October 4th. I am very excited to perform music off my new album, The Laws Of Nature, most of which I have never done live before. In addition I have an amazing and  talented lineup planned for the evening. Virginia’s very own, super producer and emcee Nottz will be rocking a set that showcases his abilities as a versatile artist with one of the most impressive track records in the industry and his group, D.M.P. (Durte Muzik Prahdukshun). As my label mate at Raw Koncept, collaborating artist/producer on my album, I felt it was only right I bring out the incredible Nottz Raw to rock in the rotten apple. There’s a reason everyone from Dr. Dre to J Dilla to Kanye West has given respect to Nottz as one of their favorite producers. I also have Brooklyn’s finest, Duck Down emcee Torae who will be co-hosting and performing some gems from his personal catalogue after dropping a banging album, For The Record which features production from Nottz, DJ Premier and Pete Rock. My homies Brown Bag AllStars will be giving you their brand of realness coming off their latest release Brown Label Part 2. The legendary DJ Eclipse will be providing music throughout the night. I was recently blessed with the opportunity to be a guest on both of his shows, The Halftime Show on WNYU 89.1 and his Sirius XM Show with Torae, Rap Is Outta Control (every Sunday 10-12 on HipHopNation). For those that don’t know, I was actually the very last Fat Beats employee, I worked there for about a month before the store closed last year, and that’s where I met some of the B.B.A.S. guys and Eclipse. Shout to DJ Element and J57 for that look. I have my friend Thoughts Inc. doing a set as well, he’ll be putting on for Washington Heights. You can expect a few surprise guests and I will be rocking out with my home team. Shout to and for sponsoring the event, they have always been very supportive of my music and are hands down some of the best sites on the Internet. It will be a monumental show and I’m looking forward to seeing friends, family and fans in the house!  Join us for this celebration, it’s sure to be a good time!”
