Fresh off their September release of Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them, Blu and Exile will join Murs’ monthly “Through The Mic” concert series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on September 20th. The pair has been making the rounds performing and promoting their first full project since 2007‘s Below The Heavens. Veteran producer/emcee Madlib and Gary Indiana product and CTE member, Freddie Gibbs will join them along with Nocando.

Gibbs and Madlib dropped two collaborative projects, in the form of the Thuggin’ and Shame EPs. While HipHopDX regular Nocando brings fresh rhymes week after week at the world-renowned club night Low End Theory, where he is the resident host.

“I am actually a LACMA member, and I’m there with my wife and daughters all the time…I expect that they will waive any renewal fees for a few years after I murder my set,” joked Nocando, who will round out the trio of performances. “Really though, I’m honored to be sharing the stage with some of the best rappers in LA.”
