50 Cent Praises ScHoolboy Q, Planning More Collaborations

West coast upstart ScHoolboy Q has made it no secret that one of his chief musical inspirations is Queens rapper 50 Cent. Now, in a recent interview with Power 106 via Rap Radar, the G-Unit general speaks on his appreciation for and work with the TDE emcee.

Fiddy said that he took an instant liking to the Black Hippy emcee after getting the chance to build with him outside of a music setting. From that encounter, he sought out Q for the duo’s collaboration “Can I Speak To You” off his 5 (Murder By Numbers) mixtape, and says that they have plans to link up again in the future.

“That 50 and ScHoolboy Q right there, I’m gonna work with the young gunners, we’re gonna get it right,” he revealed. “I like working with new artists, particularly like Q, I got the chance to kick it with him a little bit and I like him. You know how you just vibe with a person? And I was like, ‘We’re gonna do something together,’ and then I waited and when I found the right [beat], I sent it to him and we put it together.”

    1. 50 Cent is a talentless hack who sucks at rapping. Jin is the best rapper of all-time. Jin will kill Tupac, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas and Biggie at once.

      1. I bet he won’t kill Zombie Pac. Tupac is back as the world’s first zombie rapper so you know he’s gonna be the best.

    2. 50 co-signing Q. GaGa co-signing Kendrick. What do all these people have in common? INTERSCOPE!

      I don’t trust these folks.

      1. Very smart. If only more rap fans knew the schemes and tricks that labels try to pull to hype up their new artists.

      2. Q ain’t really on Interscope.
If they were endorsing their label mates he would’ve been talking about Black Hippy – Q’s solo music is still just TDE.
