    1. I can’t see why people can diss the position Radioactive charted it sold more than ICP in it’s debut week and ICP charted at No. 4!

      1. Loved Trunk Music but radioactive was a mess…get over it not being a hit, it was all over the place and too far away from Yela’s forte to actually be good

    2. I like this dude…but don’t like his music, I met him back in the day when he was titi boy, he was a humble and cool dude…..all I can say is congrats

    3. This new generation of rappers and fans don’t realise what they are doing at all. They need a prayer before its too late if bullshit like this is debuting at number one. 2012 really is the end of the world lol …

    4. Terrible news. i feel like our beautiful hip hop has been abused and taken advantage of by these new young talentless rappers. completely using “hip hop” sounds with no substance to make money…this has to stop somewhere before it’s too late..thank god for talented upcoming artists like kendrick and krit

    5. “thank god for talented upcoming artists like kendrick and krit”

Stop whining like a little bitch. Hip hop is big enough for every artist out there.

      1. Kendrick yes.
Krit. Not. Too basic for me. Lyrics are just too elementary. He can rap but I have never heard an original line from the dude.

      1. Overwhelmed? 2 Chainz’s album sold three or four thousand copies less than Nas’ did (149,000). Nevertheless, Def Jam’s having a great summer. Good for them.

      2. how when they are the same number?

hahaha funny guy bro get it in your head already.. nas aint for the masses and their momma…

comparing 2 chainz to nas is like comparing Lamborghini to KIA

.. sure KIA got the 1 car safety and all that shit.. but it’s basic as fuck

      3. life is good did 139k in the first week. so the statement was factual: 2 chainz numbers overwhelmed nas’ numbers

    6. lol yessir the only thing u were right about was good music being better than ymcmb but nas and big krit? need 2 have the left part of yo brain checked

    7. wow! that’s a lot more than i was expecting. great job for 2 chainz but he’s still an old ass nigga acting like he’s young. no lie is the only song i’ll bump from him though.

    8. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

    9. ross album is way better and putting up really good numbers if he drops a hit single he could hit platinum he gonna hit gold for sure!

      1. what do you mean if he dropped a hit single; he done already dropped all the songs from the album already, what is left to drop?

    10. 140,000 people actually spent there hard earned money on this ?

Its a fucking mixtape, the album has no flow to it whatsoever. Just a bunch of random songs with no meaning behind them.

    11. How did 2 Chainz have such a poor showing after he had so much promotion and thats all he did? Mac Miller, J.Cole, Wiz and even Big Sean did sold than that. SMH…I don’t think anyone recouped from this album.

      1. Big Sean and Mac Miller sold less by a mile you hack clown. If you’re going to say 145K in the first week is bad, then at least site some correct sources. I mean, fuck, Sean sold less than HALF of that you retard.

    12. Soooo pissed Best Buy want give me back my $9.99+tax! I fight downloading music, but this right here…. These dudes better start stepping up to fight for this culture before we lose it like Jazz &The Blues.

    13. NAS beat the most played guy on the radio!

I like 2Chains. Heard the album and made some weird faces during jus cuz he caught me off gaurd with the lazy content. So i did not buy it true story!

    14. WHAT??? How the fuck did this nigga Tity Boi sell 145,000? This is the shit i don’t like.

So, there are 145,000 deluded Americans out there? Wow…
This nigga gets no love in the UK because he is beyond wack. No matter what you say about GAME, at least he is still hiphop and yet this fool outsells him? The world is surely coming to an end….

      Illuminati ass nigga!

      1. The smell of you Limeys’ rotten ass teeth is what keeps 2 Chainz away from your wasteland of a nation. Maybe if you crumpet munchers actually brushed your teeth for once instead of sipping your sugary tea you could get better rappers to perform in your country, ‘mate’.

      2. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa fucking dumbarse we Asians are taking over the UK, along with your jobs aaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    15. yeah! real hip hop wins again. diz album wiz and instant classic, better den dat shitty Nas album. 2 Chainz is da 4th best rapper alive. swag

      1. Change your name to Slo Icy Boi; 2 Chainz ain’t never gonna be in the 5 top rappers, or in the 500 for that matter.

    16. You can tell hip hop is really dying as an art when 2 Chainz can sell 100K+, period. He should be nowhere close to Nas in sales; he certainly is nowhere near Nas lyrically.

Lately I hear the most people say that this is new 2012 music, that 2 Chainz, Waka, Rozay, Meek Mill etc ain’t tryin to be Nas or Common Sense or Black Thought, and that people are stuck in the past (90s, early 2000s). Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad at anybody that can make a successful career in this game. Its just that you have these dudes coming in the game now that just truly have no talent, and that’s not a matter of opinion. They talk about lives they never lived and spit some of the most basic, uncreative grade school rhymes over a hype beat, then get Drake, Nicki, Wayne, Kanye to feature on it. But I guess I understand why these dudes can get on now, and that’s because people want to hear that trash. A lot of hip hop fans today are super young and don’t want to hear things that make them think, so these rappers now just give people what they want to hear. Not saying that every rapper has to talk about politics or the black struggle or philosophy, but even if you’re just rhyming about partying in the club, be creative. I bet even 2 Chainz knows that he’s garbage, but people want to hear that trash he spits so he gives it to them. I can’t really blame him and the other dudes out now for milking the game like that.

So the next time when us wonder “How did these motherlovers even get into the studio to record?”, just remember that the fans ask for garbage, and these artists and their labels supply it.

    17. I used to wonder how people like 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Waka, Gucci, Plies, and the other 100 wack rappers got any love at all (it amazes me that 2 Chainz wack behind sold 100K+ period) but here what it is in a nutshell:
