Frank Ocean has canceled his European dates, including an opening stint for Coldplay on their tour.

The Odd Future crooner, who made a huge splash with his major label debut Channel Orange last month, posted a message for fans that offered a vague explanation for why he won’t honor his European appearances.

“Let me start by staying I feel like an asshole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casulties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour,” he wrote. Sorry as fuck, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.”

The day prior, Ocean ended his performance early at Norway’s Oya Festival after complaining of vocal issues.
