HipHop-N-More recently caught up with super producer Drumma Boy to discuss his upcoming debut album The Birth Of D-Boy Fresh. During the interview the Memphis producer and fledgling rapper revealed a number of high-profile collaborations he has in the works. He said that he’s been sent Atlanta heavyweight T.I. a number of street bangers for his impending Trouble Man LP, although he is unsure is any will make the final cut.

“Tip and I have worked on some stuff but I’m not sure what all will make the album. And you know what, I like to make the album cut with hot material that has some kind of impact and can change people’s lives,” he said. “I’d rather not make the cut if it’s weak…most [of the beats I gave him] are hard, street beats with that trouble sound. We have a few tracks, but let’s see what all will be there on the album. It’s definitely hot.”

Drumma Boy also revealed that he’s been working with Outkast emcee Andre 3000. Although the platinum producer spilled the beans about his work with Three Stacks to HipHopWired earlier this year, he decided to keep the final outcome of their collaborations a secret.

“[Dre and I] decided to keep everything about that a secret. Don’t wanna jinx it. You will hear about it sometime in the future, stay tuned,” he explained.
