Most Rap fans are anxiously awaiting the debut album from Slaughterhouse, welcome to: Our House. While that project is currently on ice until the very end of the Summer, there are talks now that the team might be dropping a new mixtape. Details aren’t available yet, but stay tuned as they can come at any moment, as they often do in the mixtape world.
Sir Michael Rocks of the Cool Kids is planning for a project titled Lap Of Lux on August 2nd. While some places are calling it an album, others are calling it a mixtape. The tie-breaker is it’s a street album. Talib Kweli is also hard at work on a new mixtape. That’ll be called Attack the Block and will be a precursor to his upcoming album. This past year was a big one for YMCMB’s Tyga. After graduating from “Rack City,” Tyga is returning to his mixtape roots and planning Part 3 of his Well Done mixtape series. No date yet, but that should come more sooner than later.
