This past Monday June 9, Brooklyn Bodega commenced its eighth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival with its “Show & Prove Showcase,” featuring winners Charmingly Ghetto. Now, tomorrow night, festival goers will pay tribute to the master mixers with the “Salute the DJ” event.
Beginning at 8 PM at the at the Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival 2012 will pay homage to some of rap’s finest turntablists and radio deejays. The event will feature Grand Wizzard Theodore as host and performances from DJ Scratch, DJ Emskee, Chuck Chillout, Ralph McDaniels, Sucio Smash, DP One, KJ Butta, M.Will and RawBeatz.
