British rapper Mark Morrison is working on his follow-up to 2006’s Innocent Man album. The “Return Of The Mack” hit-maker and onetime Death Row Records affiliate is now recording I Am What I Am. The fall album is said to feature the likes of Crooked I, DMX, Trina and Trae Tha Truth.
Morrison, who was born in Germany and raised in England, appeared on Trae’s “I’m On 2.0” single, in addition to work in recent years with DMX and Warren G. His 1996 debut, Return Of The Mack was a Top 100 United States charting album on Atlantic Records distribution, with the single of the same name reaching #2.
