Trae Tha Truth was shot outside of strip club Scores Cabaret in southwest Houston early this morning.
According to MyFoxHouston.com, five people were shot during the melee. Three of them were pronounced dead at the crime scene, while the rapper was one of two injured. Police identified the murdered victims as two males and one female.
Trae was treated at the Ben Taub General Hospital. A man on Twitter with the handle @LowLifeDynasty posted a picture of the rapper sitting upright in bed, writing, “Everybody TRAE is ok. Minor gunshot wound.”
Police are still unsure of who fired the shots. “There were hundreds of people in that parking lot. Somebody must have seen or heard something. We desperately need someone to come forward,” said spokesperson Victor Senties.
