Posse cuts and collaborations reign supreme this week. While there was a lot of crew love going around, recruiting reps from different sets proved equally important. It’s great when artists come together (peacefully) to make some good music. This week we had some returns to the fold, along with some new entries as always. The important thing is that as Summer starts up, the music is still going strong.

French Montana Samples 2 Live Crew, Eminem Returns In 30 Seconds

Bad Boy’s French Montana’s new track “Pop That” samples 2 Live Crew’s graphic classic “Pop That Coochie.” He brought along Maybach Music Group (Rick Ross) and YMCMB (Drake and Lil Wayne) for the ride and the result was the #1 track. See what happens when Rap crews come together? Meanwhile, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, and Jadakiss helped Bangladesh out on the track “100” that came in at #2. At #3? An MMG “Power Circle” starring Gunplay, Stalley, Wale, Meek Mill, Rick Ross and a special guest appearance by Kendrick Lamar. Eminem’s “Art Of Rap” freestyle also once again hit the list. In less than a minute, Slim Shady still managed to kill his bars. He kept the murder going at #8.

Justin Bieber Shows Out With Big Sean, Frank Ocean Sees Pyramids

Yes, Justin Bieber is on the list. Again. Maybe his teenage female friends click the link off Google strength or maybe Hip Hop heads are curious as to what Big Sean is doing hanging around the Biebs. Either way, he’s in at #6 with “As Long As You Love Me.” Frank Ocean’sChannel Orange is arriving July 17th. He dropped “Pyramids” soon after that news hit, and it made our list last week at #8. This week the track actually moved up the #4 spot. It’s been a long time coming for Frank, so fans are always quick to jump on new material. Big K.R.I.T. fans are the same way. He dropped the bonus “Thank You Kindly” this past week and it grabbed the #7 spot. Thank you kindly, K.R.I.T.
