50 Cent Puts Young Buck In His Place, Explains Relationship With Lloyd Banks

A week after releasing his first Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Lost Tape, 50 Cent did the media rounds this week, touching on a few hot button topics that pertain to his career. He addressed his current relationship with Lloyd Banks, explaining that the two haven’t even spoken to one another in almost a year. Pete Rock & Lupe Fiasco Continue To Spar

The saga continues between Pete Rock and Lupe Fiasco. After Lu sampled “T.R.O.Y.” for his new single “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free),” the veteran producer lashed out at him for the unauthorized remake. Rock later explained that he initially gave his blessing for Lupe to remake the song on the condition that he be involved in his next album, though after they had the initial discussions, he never heard from him or Atlantic Records again. After Lupe went on a harsh radio rant last week, Pete Rock spoke with MTV News about why he let his emotions get the best of him, stating that he was thinking about Heavy D and Troy and that it wasn’t his intention to damage Lupe’s career. Watch the interview below.
